あさって。。。

Up until today あさって(asatte) has been one of my favorite Japanese words. The Japanese were so clever in making "the day after tomorrow" one word, asatte. Throughout my stay in Japan asatte has signified something fun, new, or different coming up... but today it signifies the day that I have to leave this amazing country! The hardest part by far will be having to say goodbye to all of my new friends and families, who I absolutely adore.

Like the other 9 months of my life in Japan this last month has been crazy busy, if not more so. It is already pretty late into the night here and I have a sports festival that I have to get up early for tomorrow, it is my last day at school and my last full day in Japan, I need to head off to bed. I will write a massive blog about my last month in Japan and also a blog about reverse culture shock to sum up my full exchange experience. For now the best that I can do to describe how I'm feeling is through some songs:

Sigh No More- Mumford&Sons

It's Time- Imagine Dragons

Little Wonders- Rob Thomas

The Call- Regina Spektor

(I realize I have probably repeated some songs from previous blogs. Oh well.)

It's crazy to think that I'll be back on US soil within the next few days. Japan you have treated me well. Thank you.

Sayonara for the last time from Osaka, Japan.
